Role OverviewRigel is seeking a Senior Commercial Accountant to support its growing business. This role will report to the Revenue Director and play a key role in revenue accounting, accounts receivable, and inventory accounting, distributor/channel activity, gross-to-net support, and commercial analytics.
What You Will Do
Support monthly and quarterly revenue close activities, prepare and record journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and assist in the review and analysis of gross-to-net estimates.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly revenue recognition (ASC 606), and experience with revenue accounting, AR, or commercial accounting. Familiarity with GTN, chargebacks, or rebates is a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred)
- 5–7+ years of relevant experience (public accounting and/or industry experience)
- Experience with revenue accounting, AR, or commercial accounting required
- Exposure to life sciences / biotech / pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred
