Role OverviewThe Senior Commissioning Manager will implement an effective commissioning program for a Clearway Utility Scale Renewable Energy project. The role involves planning and preparation of commissioning trackers, ensuring compliance with testing processes and procedures, conducting safety oversight, and commissioning test report reviews. The Sr. Commissioning Manager will be meticulous, have strong leadership and communication skills, technical expertise, analytical thinking abilities, and mathematical and administrative knowledge.
What You Will Do
The Senior Commissioning Manager will plan, review, and understand project technical requirements, ensure project commissioning requirements and deliverables are clearly defined, and review installation manuals and submittals to understand the installation and commissioning process. The role also involves stakeholder communication, documentation, quality control support, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- 5-7 years of related experience
- Managing or commissioning of large utility scale projects and personnel preferred
- Knowledge of construction risks and safety requirements
- Proven commissioning management experience in renewable energy
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and contract exhibits
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems and components, SCADA systems, installation practices, and quality standards
- Versed in industry standards, codes, regulations related to utility scale PV, BESS, Wind, and Substation construction
- Ability to switch between and track multiple projects and tasks based on project needs
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify potential commissioning issues and risks
- Analytical and problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, OneNote, etc.
- Understand tools and equipment calibration procedures
