Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to join our Public Outreach team in Orlando, FL to be a part of Florida's most innovative transportation initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to translate cutting-edge, complex concepts into clear, compelling messages for stakeholders, partners, and the public.

Requirements

  • Develop and implement integrated communications strategies
  • Craft clear and compelling messaging, talking points, and other documents
  • Identify proactive storytelling opportunities and develop and manage calendars
  • Coordinate production of photos, graphics, video, and other multimedia assets
  • Ensure brand and message consistency across all communications
  • Create high-quality written content
  • Identify communications objectives and provide strategic recommendations
  • Manage high-priority, time-sensitive content
  • Plan, produce, and execute events
  • Coordinate and participate in government briefings
  • Supervise and mentor support staff and junior professionals
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
