Role Overview

The Senior Compliance Counsel will oversee the company's charitable gaming regulatory and compliance activities, managing a team of compliance professionals and ensuring the organization operates in accordance with applicable charitable gaming laws and regulations.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include designing and implementing a comprehensive charitable gaming compliance program, developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures, overseeing compliance monitoring and auditing, and ensuring timely submission of regulatory filings and reports.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of legal and/or compliance experience focused on gaming or another highly regulated industry, with exceptional analytical, written, and oral communication skills and the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal audiences.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school required
  • Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction required, with the ability to become licensed in Ohio
  • 10+ years of legal and/or compliance experience focused on gaming or another highly regulated industry
  • Demonstrated experience managing gaming compliance in multiple jurisdictions and experience with drafting compliance policies and procedures
