Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior computer vision and machine learning software engineer to support Research & Systems Engineering. The role will facilitate the research, design, and deployment of new machine learning/artificial intelligence models to embed within the current and future products portfolio.
What You Will Do
Design and lead innovative AI projects from beginning to end, provide technical guidance to other team members, and manage AI model codebases from research to production level.

Requirements
- Strong Python/C++ coding ability
- Strong experience in ONNX model and Microsoft ML interface
- Strong image processing knowledge
- Ability to readily absorb complex bioinformatic concepts
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of the biotech industry with a focus on cell development practices
- Deep knowledge of convolutional models and latest techniques
- Proficiency in major deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, Yolo, CellPose)
- MSc or higher in CompSci, Mathematics, Physics, AI, Computational Biology or any other relevant quantitative discipline
- 2+ years of experience applying ML/AI to microscope images or biological problems
- 3-4 years of experience with any of the major deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, Yolo, CellPose)
- Demonstrable industry experience of delivering computer vision-based AI projects (preferably in biotech)
