Role OverviewThe Senior Construction Inspector performs inspection and quality assurance aspects of various projects assigned by the manager, to ensure that project implementation and completion meet the requirements and needs of SEPTA. The role requires a background in maintenance and/or construction, and a basic understanding of construction Quality Assurance and Third Party Service Contract Administration practices.
What You Will Do
Maintains a diary or log book, recording contractor manpower and hours on the job site, weather conditions, data relative to questions of work directive changes, change orders, or changed conditions, list of job site visitors, daily activities, decisions and observations in general. Inspects contractor’s operation to ensure work is performed in a safe manner and that workmanship is consistent with contract requirements.

Requirements
- High School Graduate with ten (10) years transit maintenance or meaningful construction experience
- NICET Level II Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- Demonstrated computer literacy; working knowledge of personal computers including Windows, MS Office, and project management software
