Senior Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Construction Manager to join our team at K&A Power Group in Hartford, Connecticut. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors.

What You Will Do

Manage all construction activities across transmission, substation, and distribution projects, including budget, schedule, contract adherence, and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Develop and manage construction teams, including internal staff and external contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience
• 20 + years of construction, maintenance, or related experience (transmission/substation preferred)
• Qualified to request/hold transmission and distribution clearances and manage/coordinate a crew of several Construction Managers
• Deep knowledge of transmission, substation, and distribution construction practices
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and construction quality assurance
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, Scheduling, Procurement, Legal, and field operations
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
• Valid driver's license required
• Proficiency in construction documentation, scheduling, and cost control
