Requirements

  • Pursue projects with various public agencies and technically and administratively represent a project owner throughout construction on a variety of public and quasi-public infrastructure projects
  • Manage in-house and sub-consultant contracts and staff and perform as point person for construction contract oversight
  • Business development activities with clients to assist with the growth of the Southern California Construction Management/Field Services program and marketing of HDR services to existing and potential clients and teaming partners
  • Supervise and direct the activities of the field team and maintain healthy relationships with the client and all oversight organizations
  • Direct and coordinate the work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out)
  • Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
  • Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
  • Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule
  • Work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
  • Implement QA/QC procedures
  • Support the operations oversight of regional projects and staff including managing utilization of staff, and hiring and mentoring and coaching
  • Review and recommend actions to maintain a positive financial outlook for the business class
  • Perform other duties as needed
