Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor – Data Center Construction

Requirements

• Manage day‐to‐day cost management activities for a multi‐phase data center program, ensuring commercial rigor and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain detailed cost plans, budgets, and estimates across multiple packages and stages of design and construction.
• Support procurement activities, including issuing RFPs, reviewing contractor proposals, conducting scope reviews, and assisting in commercial negotiations.
• Lead cost reporting, including monthly reports, cash flow forecasts, commitment tracking, and risk reviews.
• Oversee change management processes: review, analyze, negotiate, and reconcile change orders.
• Support value engineering and design‐to‐budget initiatives throughout design and delivery.
• Provide cost input into scheduling, risk, and project controls processes.
• Maintain accurate benchmarking, cost databases, and historical cost records.
• Mentor junior cost managers and quantity surveyors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Turner & Townsend Business Management Systems (BMS) and best‐practice delivery standards.
