Role OverviewThe Senior Credit Analyst plays a critical role in evaluating commercial credit opportunities, supporting loan structuring decisions, identifying emerging risks, and maintaining the quality of the Credit Union's commercial loan portfolio. The Senior Credit Analyst serves as a trusted partner to Loan Officers and management while providing mentorship and guidance to junior credit staff. This position requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who can support commercial lending through comprehensive financial analysis, credit underwriting, risk assessment, and portfolio monitoring.
What You Will Do
The Senior Credit Analyst will analyze commercial loan requests, provide independent credit recommendations, and prepare detailed financial statement spreads, cash flow analyses, risk assessments, and comprehensive Credit Memo Presentations. The analyst will also evaluate borrower repayment capacity, assign and monitor risk ratings, and identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks within borrower relationships and industries.

Requirements
