Role Overview

The Florida Gaming Control Commission is responsible for exercising all regulatory and executive powers of the state with respect to legal gaming. The agency is seeking a Senior Crime Intelligence Analyst II to work in the Northeast Regional Office in Jacksonville, FL. The incumbent will collect, analyze, and present data related to criminal activity, and initiate research projects to determine the structure and capabilities of criminal suspects or organizations.

What You Will Do

Specific duties include reviewing and monitoring crime reports, using intelligence resources to establish connections between criminal activity and persons or organizations, creating products related to Commission enforcement activity, and assembling evidence for trial purposes.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience in criminal intelligence, crime analysis, or investigative analysis at a law enforcement agency.
  • Experience in military intelligence or homeland security intelligence, or experience in financial analysis at a governmental or private sector entity can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of law enforcement analytical experience.
  • Successful completion of the Florida Law Enforcement Analyst Academy.
