Senior Data Analyst

This position will analyze complex business needs related to C&DS project data and answer critical questions with a focus on C&DS key priorities and business initiatives. The position will generate and test hypotheses, create, explore and analyze datasets, develop data pipelines, create & enhance reporting solutions, and build accurate predictive and prescriptive data models to understand trends and produce actionable insights across our business.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include understanding business and technology organizations, resources, priorities, needs, and policies; forging relationships with C&DS business teams to develop customized business tools, visualizations, and predictive and prescriptive models; and developing predictive and prescriptive models using statistical techniques, software, and machine learning algorithms to forecast future trends and outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
• Relevant work experience includes business strategy, project / construction management or engineering
• Specific experience in business analytics reporting & visualizations is essential
• Demonstrated proficiency in processing, manipulating, and generating insight from large data sets of structured and unstructured data
• Experience in the implementation of complex programs and projects
• Knowledge of statistical methods, predictive modeling techniques, and data mining algorithms is highly valuable
• Understanding of statistical analysis to ensure metrics are accurate and meaningful
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
