Job Description
The Guardian is a global news organization hiring a Senior Data Analyst to provide data and insights to the editorial department. The role involves creating data models, analyzing audience engagement trends, and collaborating with teams across the business.

Requirements

  • Partner with editorial in the US to understand problems and challenges and to provide the insight through data analysis
  • Create and query data models using SQL
  • Support day-to-day operations including pulling data from a variety of sources
  • Demonstrate a rigorous approach to testing and interpretation of test results
  • Support regular reporting to inform audience insights, editorial engagement, and A/B testing performance as required
  • Craft narratives, explain insights, and participate in / lead discussions with colleagues
  • Design, review, and develop tailored dashboards for the US
  • Draw on the expertise from and collaborate with the global data, analytics, and research teams headquartered in London
