V-Soft Consulting is hiring a Senior Data Engineer/BA - SAS/ETL III for a premier client in Cincinnati, OH. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience with MS Access development, strong knowledge of relational data modeling and normalization, and experience integrating Access with enterprise databases.

Requirements

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex MS Access databases (front-end/back-end split architectures).
  • Optimize VBA code, queries, forms, and reports for performance and usability.
  • Analyze and refactor legacy Access applications used in risk, regulatory, and lending workflows.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and business analysis skills.
  • Business logic
  • VBA programming (including Windows API usage)
  • Complex SQL (joins, aggregations, performance tuning)
  • Access forms, reports, macros, and linked tables
  • Data lineage and dependencies
