Job Description
The Senior Data Engineer will design and operate cloud data systems, partner with analysts and IT teams to deliver high-performance data pipelines, and apply AI-enabled techniques to improve data discoverability and usability.
Requirements
Design and operate Snowflake-centric analytical architectures
Evaluate and apply the appropriate platform (Snowflake, Databricks, Postgres, ADLS) based on workload requirements
Build and maintain scalable, automated data ingestion and refresh pipelines
Integrate data from external vendors and internal systems
Design and develop analytical data models
Build and maintain governed semantic models / semantic layers
Optimize Snowflake performance and cost
Own operational readiness for data pipelines
Develop and implement data quality validation and testing frameworks
Plan and execute work using agile methodologies
