Role OverviewThe Data Engineer – PGS is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and support of complex computer database systems and data models. The role involves planning, coordinating, and implementing schedule updates to the production Business Development data models. The Data Engineer will work with development teams, affiliates, business owners, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver database solutions to the business.
What You Will Do
The Data Engineer will perform all database-related activities during application system evaluations, development projects, and subsequent implementations. They will identify opportunities to reduce data-redundancy and utilize single sources of data with integration of systems through database design and access methods.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or other related field from regionally accredited college/university.
- 5 years of work experience related to the Duties & Responsibilities of this position, or 2 years as a DBA or Data Engineer.
- Demonstrated database programming language skills such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Ability to effectively organize own work and teamwork, maintain an extremely high level of accuracy, check own work and the work of others, and keep accurate and auditable records.
