Role OverviewThe Senior Data Governance Specialist will lead the design, refinement, and operationalization of Customer’s enterprise data governance framework. This role will support governance board structures, data classification, data quality standards, access governance, metadata standards, stewardship protocols, governance workflows, Microsoft Purview controls, data lifecycle concepts, and coordination with Government data stewards and functional stakeholders.
What You Will Do
Lead data governance planning, documentation, and artifact refinement. Develop or support governance board charters, steward roles, operating procedures, review workflows, and decision processes. Define or refine data classification standards, quality thresholds, naming conventions, metadata standards, and access request processes.
