Job Description
Bloomberg is seeking a Senior Data Management Professional to oversee data management and analysis of a portfolio of companies. The role involves building financial models, designing technical solutions, and analyzing company data to deliver a best-in-class financial analysis and modeling product.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business, STEM, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in financial data analysis, equity research, financial modeling, or a related field
  • Strong coding proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and workflow optimization
  • Advanced experience working with Pandas (Python) or dplyr (R)
  • Deep understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, and industry analysis
  • Competency in applied statistics, with emphasis on descriptive statistics and statistical inference
  • Basic knowledge of relational data modelling with a focus on conceptual data model and data normalization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate business needs into actionable data solutions
  • Proven ability to support and engage with stakeholders to ensure product success
