Senior Data/Visualization Engineer

Join JCS Solutions LLC as a Senior Data/Visualization Engineer to design, develop, and maintain informative dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI and MicroStrategy. The successful candidate will play a critical mission-support role by transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that directly facilitate business strategy, decision-making, and IT Operations sustainment.

What You Will Do

Design, build, and deploy interactive dashboards, reports, and dossiers using Power BI and MicroStrategy, identify, extract, and analyze relevant data specifically in support of IT Operations and system sustainment initiatives, and provide guidance, documentation, and training to end-users on how to effectively interact with and interpret the visualization tools.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
• 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience
• Active IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, or SSCP)
• Proven professional track record in data analysis, business intelligence, and building data visualizations for enterprise use
• Familiarity with IT Operations and sustainment, including a strong understanding of how to identify and apply relevant data to support these functions
• Experience with data extract, transform, and load (ETL) techniques using disparate structured and unstructured data sources
• Advanced hands-on experience with Power BI (including DAX and Power Query) and MicroStrategy (including Dossiers and standard reporting)
• Strong command of SQL and experience querying complex relational databases and data warehouses
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical data findings clearly to non-technical audiences
