Key responsibilities include design, product development, and launch of new air compressors, utilizing sound engineering practices, evaluating existing designs, and developing prototypes.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- 5+ years of design engineering experience
- Experience with air compressors or power tools
- Project management and organization skills
- Knowledge of UL 1450/CSA C22.2 compliance
- Experience in new product development process (Stage Gate or Milestones)
- Mechanical intuition with strong 'hands on' experience
- Experience designing plastic, die casting, and metalworking components
- Experience with manufacturing processes and executing new designs into a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of and ability to design and test products which meet compliance standards
- Failure analysis and test data evaluation
- Packaging development and testing
- Development of on-product and in-manual safety and instructional messages
