Job Description
The Mayor's Office for Economic Opportunity is seeking a Senior Design Lead to work on projects that reduce poverty and increase opportunity for New Yorkers. The Senior Design Lead will lead service design projects, develop and execute human-centered design research, and analyze and develop key insights that lead to actionable solutions and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Solid experience managing multi-stakeholder projects
  • Developing and executing human-centered design research
  • Capturing and synthesizing information from various stakeholders
  • Analyzing and developing key insights that can lead to actionable solutions and measurable outcomes
  • Leading service design projects from scoping to implementation
  • Facilitating and adapting design processes for diverse networks of stakeholders
  • Mixed-method approaches for design research and participatory activities
  • Turn user research insights into practical solutions and deliverables
