Senior Developer

The Sr Developer leads the design, development, deployment, and continuous improvement of scalable web applications and enterprise solutions. You will provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle, architect modern cloud-based applications, mentor development teams, and drive engineering best practices.

Lead the design, development, and implementation of Python-based enterprise solutions, provide technical leadership to development teams, architect and build scalable web applications, and drive quality development practices.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on backend development experience using Python.
• 5+ years of hands-on frontend development experience using React.js.
• Extensive experience developing enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
• Strong experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Strong experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Extensive experience utilizing AWS services including S3, EC2, Lambda, SQS, and RDS.
• Experience leading development efforts within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience utilizing JIRA and Agile project management processes.
• Proven ability to lead software engineering teams and deliver complex technical solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming, software architecture, design patterns, database design, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Proven experience translating business requirements into scalable technical architectures and solutions.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot for code generation, review, validation, optimization, and software delivery acceleration.
