Role Overview

As a Senior Diesel Technician, you will make repair decisions prioritizing safety, perform tractor estimations, diagnoses, and corrections, and complete routine rebuilds and replacements. You will work in Atlanta, GA, and be responsible for preventive maintenance, annual vehicle inspections, component replacements, and other repairs on tractors.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will include performing a wide variety of preventive maintenance, completing inspections, diagnosis, and work estimations, communicating status updates with internal customers, and providing recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.

Why It Might Be a Fit

To be successful in this role, you will need to have technical knowledge of diagnostic software, Detroit engines, and after-treatment repairs, as well as experience with computer systems and diagnostic software. You will also need to be able to provide effective written and verbal communication and provide your own tools within 30 days of hire.

Requirements

  • Technical degree in diesel technology or related field
  • Minimum of two years of diesel technician experience
  • Knowledge of diagnostic software, Detroit engines, and after-treatment repairs
  • Computer systems and diagnostic software experience
  • Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire
