Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Director, BCL Operations to serve as the technical and strategic backbone of our Lab Operations Group. This role requires a visionary leader with a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Bioinformatics, or a related field, and 12+ years of post-degree experience. The role will involve technical leadership, clinical advising, operations management, and strategic services development and productization.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Bioinformatics, or a related field with 12+ years of post-degree experience (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Mastery of NGS, functional genomics (CRISPR/Screening), and multiomic integration in a clinical (CLIA/CAP) environment
  • Proven experience in the 'business of science,' including costing models, resource planning, and product life cycle management
  • Ability to explain complex 'wet lab' failures to software engineers and cost-per-sample models to executives
