Role Overview

The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for an Sr. Donor Relations Manager. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, grant-funded opportunity. Current funding will expire on 10/01/2028, with the possibility of extension. What You Will Do

Responsible for leading and driving high-capacity donor and gift stewardship services and growing established relationships with donors and their representatives in collaboration with the primary donor relationship manager. Serve as the primary point of contact for servicing a portfolio of assigned relationships with active gifts in fulfillment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated report writing skills
  • Excellent in advanced PowerPoint, Word and Excel, Outlook, and Customer Relationship Management systems
  • Experience in grant writing and grant requirements
  • Experience developing and delivering PowerPoint presentations to both large and small groups
  • Ability to establish, manage, and provide progress updates on project management plans and timelines using software tools
  • Ability to effectively facilitate meetings and lead teams to achieve plan objectives
  • Ability to travel up to 25% local and overnight stay
