Job Description
The Auditor of State's office is seeking a Senior Economic Crimes Counsel to investigate and prosecute fraud in government. The role involves serving as Special Prosecutor, providing legal and investigative advice, and conducting legal research. The ideal candidate has 10 years of experience as a prosecutor and knowledge of substantive and procedural law.
Requirements
Admission to Ohio Bar
Knowledge of substantive and procedural law and Westlaw computerized legal research
Strong legal writing skills
Interpersonal communication
Judicial clerkship and similar experience preferred
Experience as a prosecutor (or relevant courtroom experience) required; experience with white collar, economic crimes and fraud cases preferred
