Job Description
GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior EIT 1 for the Civil and Environmental Business Sector. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a team-oriented environment that will utilize their college education and past work experience to develop professionally into a well-rounded engineer with the ability to grow in today's environment.

Requirements

  • Develops broad knowledge and skills in a specific practice area.
  • Evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects with few complex features.
  • Collaboratively uses judgment to determine adaptations in methods for nonroutine aspects of assignments.
  • Applies principles of probability and statistics to determine risk relevant to engineering.
  • Performs moderate design tasks.
  • Prepares portions of plans, specifications, and other project documents.
  • Performs research and field investigation.
  • Works as a part of a team and coordinates work with others.
  • Assists in determining schedule and budget requirements.
  • Receives instruction on specific objectives.
  • Receives direction on unconventional and/or complex problems and possible solutions.
  • Receives a thorough review of completed work for the application of sound professional judgment.
  • Receives mentorship from a licensed engineer typically in their specialty.
