Senior Electrical Designer

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to join our team in Billings Montana. As part of the team, your core responsibility will be to provide detailed electrical design drawings and support the project team from a technical perspective.

What You Will Do

Work scheduling and project planning, preparation of engineering drawings and documentation, responding to technical queries, and training and supervision of junior staff members.

Requirements

• Experienced with AutoCAD 18 or newer version and Navisworks
• Experience with SPEL, AutoCAD and MicroStation design software packages, AVEVA 2D/3D is a plus
• Experience with the SP3D, PDMS, PDS EERWAY 3D CAD system, participate in 3D model reviews
• Training in 2D and 3D CAD software
• Functional MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.)
• Functional understanding of Electrical Estimating System to generate MTOs and BOMs
• Solid understanding of National Electric Code (NEC) and industry standards
• Functional skills in the use of SmartPlant review and other 3D modelling software
• Functional skills in the use of LFM or other laser scan tools
• Functional skills in the use of Microstation (Hexagon) 2D, AutoCAD or other 2D design
• Associate Degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering / Design / Drafting or related field
• Preferred: Knowledge with NEC a plus, Bachelor’s Degree
