Role OverviewHDR is an employee-owned firm seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Building Engineering Services Group. The role involves designing critical infrastructure for high-performance data centers and commercial environments, working within a multidiscipline team of mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineers.
What You Will Do
Coordinate the work of Electrical Engineers with a multidiscipline team throughout project development. Establish client relations, participate in marketing and design meetings, assume electrical lead on projects, conduct schematic and design development work sessions, track financial aspects, and direct other electrical engineering professionals.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
- A minimum of 10 years experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems)
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license)
- Extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting and signal design, including life safety systems and building management systems
- Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and electrical design software
