Senior Electrical Engineer

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at HDR, you will be part of the Building Engineering Services Group, designing critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to solve complex design challenges with precision, creativity, and collaboration.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include coordinating the work of Electrical Engineers, establishing client relations, participating in design and production meetings, and conducting schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We are looking for a candidate with a strong preference for water/wastewater experience, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design of buildings. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
• A minimum of 10 years experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems)
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
• Extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting and signal design, including life safety systems and building management systems
• Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and electrical design software
