Role OverviewNova Biomedical is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of electronic and firmware subsystems for medical devices. The role will involve designing, developing, and evaluating analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits, as well as troubleshooting electronic hardware and firmware.
What You Will Do
Develop high-level and detailed architectures for electronic and firmware subsystems, create detailed specifications, circuit designs, and simulations, and debug electronic hardware and firmware.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience, including experience in regulated product development, and a strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 5 to 8+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience with analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design
- Experience with electromechanical system design and integration
- Proficiency with schematic-capture and PCB-design tools
- Experience with the Altium 365 tool suite
- Working knowledge of product-safety, electromagnetic interference, electromagnetic compatibility, and regulated product-development requirements
