Job Description
At HDR, we're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services Group in the Walnut Creek or Folsom, CA office. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for the electrical design of facilities in support of various markets, coordinating with a multidiscipline design team, and delivering high-quality, technically-sound electrical engineering designs.

Requirements

  • Perform, plan, direct, and monitor work of the electrical design on large institutional/industrial projects
  • Establish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
  • Coordinate electrical team staffing and workload to complete the Project on schedule
  • Review electrical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines
  • Write/edit electrical specifications and select equipment, electrical systems and devices
  • Conduct QA/QC on the work of other Electrical Engineers, Electrical Coordinators or Technicians
  • Perform other duties as needed
