Senior Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

As a Senior Electrical Maintenance Supervisor at Freeport-McMoRan, you will supervise, coordinate, and control the safe and efficient operation of an assigned work unit through subordinate Supervisors. You will ensure continued operations of production shifts through execution of the production plan and schedules, provide Operations input for production and maintenance planning, and ensure adherence to correct safety and operating procedures.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include inspecting assigned work units to ensure schedules and objectives are attained, coordinating daily with other Operational and staff areas, directly supervising first-line or shift Supervisors, and performing other duties as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Seven (7) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience
• Bachelor's degree in a technical mining related discipline and three (3) years of operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience
• Knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
