Role OverviewThe Advanced Capabilities and Systems Group is an agile, innovative, multi-disciplinary team that rapidly develops novel system and technology concepts that address the nation’s critical security challenges. The group starts its development with focused analyses that uncover the most impactful solutions to defense and intelligence problems, and then develops those solutions in a fast cycle of experimentation, prototyping, and testing.
What You Will Do
Electronic assembly and wiring from schematics; assembly, test and troubleshooting microwave circuits utilizing the use of electronic test equipment, antenna components, and RF coaxial components; mechanical assembly from drawings and interfacing with machinist and fabrication personnel; the fabrication of small air, ground, and amphibious vehicles to include 3D printing and composite layup; some light to moderate lifting of chassis and equipment with a maximum of 50 pounds; and work under non-laboratory conditions all local

Requirements
- Graduation from a two-year technical school or its equivalent
- Minimum of five years of experience
- Well organized, detail oriented, and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Operates highly technical experimental apparatus such as RF network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, and RF power meters
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
