Job Description

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Electromechanical Engineer to provide technical authority and expertise in the field of electromechanical control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for serving as the technical authority on multiple programs, collaborating with internal and external customers, and driving innovation and excellence in the field.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent
10 years of applicable professional or educational experience
Experience in laboratory experimentation, developing test strategies, experiment design, and integration and test
Experience working with electronics, mechanical design and structures, control systems, inertial sensors, and/or actuators
Experience with spacecraft and/or launch vehicle control hardware
Experience providing technical support in multi-program, multi-agency environments
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
