Role Overview

The MIL Corporation is seeking an Electronic Warfare SIGINT Engineer to support the T&E of Electronic Warfare (EW), Platforms and Weapons related technologies and capabilities. This position requires an on-site schedule, with 5 days on-site and is eligible for Compressed Work Schedule (CWS). Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements. The engineer will operate, install, adjust, and maintain integrated computer/communications systems, consoles, simulators, and data acquisition/test/measurement equipment used to launch, track, position, and evaluate air and space vehicles; record, interpret, and report test data as required.

What You Will Do

The engineer will serve as an expert in a specialized engineering area, handling complex assignments that require creativity and judgment to develop approaches, resolve design and operational issues, and make decisions when standard engineering methods do not apply. The engineer will also train and/or be assisted by lower-level technicians, and perform one or a combination of the following: prepares designs and specifications for various complex equipment or systems, plans approach to solve design problems, conceives and recommends new design techniques, resolves design problems with contract personnel and assures compatibility of design with other parts of the system.

The engineer will also analyze user requirements, procedures, and system workflows to recommend automation, improvements, or system capability enhancements.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of DoW Acquisition process
  • Knowledge and experience in DoW Systems Engineering process
  • Knowledge and experience in Naval Aviation Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) and Electronic Warfare (EW) systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of DOT&E policies, instructions, and guidance
  • Knowledge and experience in EW Test and Evaluation
  • 6 years’ experience designing, developing, maintaining, and/or operating signals intelligence systems
  • 3 years of NAVAIR, NAWCAD experience
  • Experience in Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)
  • Ability to independently plan and complete projects or studies of broad scope
