Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electronics Technician to support the PM Mounted Armored Vehicle Bradley Fighting Vehicle platform. The successful candidate will work in an assembly, manufacturing, and production environment, using technical and electronic testing equipment. They will collaborate with various personnel in a manufacturing or testing setting, attend meetings, contribute to team efforts, deliver timely results, produce reports, and communicate information effectively.

What You Will Do

The Senior Electronics Technician will assemble cable harnesses and electronic components, perform tasks associated with production and manufacturing processes, cut, sort, color-code, measure, crimp, solder, and route various lengths, types, and gauges of wire, heat-shrink, and other related materials to form wire harnesses. They will also operate tools and equipment, conduct functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies, and perform visual and dimensional inspections.

Requirements

  • Related IPC certifications, IPC-WHMA-A-620 required, IPC-J-STD-001 preferred
  • 5-10 years demonstrated relevant experience in related field
  • Ability to move up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with physical demands associated with work
  • Experience with warehouse and manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Experience with wire harnesses and cable assemblies, required
  • U.S. Citizenship required
