Role Overview

Consumer Cellular is seeking a Senior Engineer, DevOps who will serve as forward-thinking technologists and hands-on builders. This role will be responsible for advancing our cloud and automation capabilities while scanning the startup ecosystem to surface and adopt next-generation tools and practices before the competition.

What You Will Do

Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment across all environments. Use infrastructure automation tools to provision and manage on-premise and cloud infrastructure. Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure for scalability, availability, and cost optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or a similar role
  • Demonstrable experience with CI/CD tools
  • Deep hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
  • Strong version control skills
  • Expertise in scripting languages
  • Solid understanding of Windows and Linux/Unix systems and networking
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
  • Experience managing databases in cloud environments
  • Understanding of security practices for cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines
