Job Description
lululemon is seeking a Senior Engineer I - Inventory Systems (Java) to join their team. The successful candidate will bring a high level of technical knowledge and strong mentoring abilities to the role. As a Senior Engineer I, you will be responsible for leading a team of Engineers, providing mentorship and facilitating engineering training, and contributing to the development of industry-leading technology solutions that drive lululemon's business goals.

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space
  • Knowledge of CI/CD principles and best practices
  • Experience developing solutions for retail or eCommerce businesses and other relevant domains such as manufacturing & logistics, supply chain, or corporate shared services
  • Ability to assume the leadership/mentorship of Engineers
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools to automate deployments, monitor systems, and support CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficient in building and maintaining Java microservices for scalable, modular backend architectures
  • Solid understanding of cloud tech (AWS/OCI) infrastructure, services, and security within Oracle environments
