Role OverviewThe role involves synthesizing customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions, developing and directing test plans, and coordinating integrated testing activities. The position requires technical analysis of complete systems and preparing comprehensive system level evaluations. The team works at the forefront of technology, manufacturing, and integration of the most powerful and survivable naval ships in the world.

The main day-to-day responsibilities include developing and directing test plans, coordinating integrated testing activities, and performing technical analysis of complete systems. The outcomes include comprehensive system level evaluations and test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 4 years of relevant professional experience, lead test engineer or ship safety officer certification, and trade REC coordinator and trade REC oversight agent certification. Experience in the Navy nuclear qualified and CVN78 class steam and electric plant test experience is a plus.
