Role OverviewAs a Senior Engineer – Network Security, you will design, build, and support secure, high-performing network solutions across data centers and remote environments. This role is hybrid, requiring on-site work at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and virtual work from home or another location on Fridays.
What You Will Do
Deploy and support firewalls, ZTNA, NAC, and related network platforms, build automation for configuration, provisioning, and monitoring, analyze network performance and plan for growth and scale, lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex issues, contribute to technical planning and architecture decisions, and work with cross-functional teams to improve connectivity and security.

Requirements
- 3+ years of network security experience with bachelor’s or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, business or related field, OR appropriate industry certification(s) OR equivalent relevant professional experience
- 7+ years of professional experience
- Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with network automation and scripting
- Hold an industry certification ie. Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto. F5, AWS
- Background in large, global enterprise environments (1000+ sites)
- Proficiency in Routing/Switching/ACI/BGP/Terraform/DNS
