Role Overview

The Senior Engineer, TFE & Tooling Design is responsible for designing and developing tooling, fixtures, and mechanical support equipment used throughout the assembly, integration, and production of turbine engine hardware. This role works closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to translate complex product and process requirements into practical, producible tooling solutions.

What You Will Do

Design assembly tooling, fixtures, and mechanical support equipment for development and production engine build processes. Own tooling designs from initial concept through detailed design, drawing release, fabrication, implementation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience, including tooling, fixture, or mechanical equipment design within the aerospace, aviation, defense, or similarly complex manufacturing industry.
  • Experience developing 3D CAD models, detailed engineering drawings, and released design documentation.
  • Experience performing dimensional and tolerance stack-up analyses.
  • Experience working with large or complex mechanical assemblies.
  • Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, and product development teams.
  • Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter preferred.
