Job Description
Senior Engineer, Unified Communications / Microsoft 365 job requires 7+ years of experience in Unified Communications, Messaging, or Microsoft 365 engineering roles. Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and hybrid Exchange architectures is necessary. The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end architecture, operations, and reliability of enterprise Unified Communications and messaging services.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in Unified Communications, Messaging, or Microsoft 365 engineering roles
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and hybrid Exchange architectures
Deep understanding of email flow end to end, including DNS, SMTP, SPF / DKIM / DMARC, TLS, Routing topologies
Hands-on experience with Proofpoint email security solutions
Working proficiency with Metadact or similar metadata-scrubbing tools
Strong experience diagnosing and resolving complex UC and messaging issues
Solid knowledge of identity and security technologies, including Azure AD, OAuth, Conditional Access, MFA
Proficiency with PowerShell or similar scripting tools for automation and system administration
Strong job stability and long-term employment history
Ability to work the required 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM PST schedule
