Role Overview

Weston Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Senior Project Scientist to support environmental investigation, remediation, and emergency response projects that protect public health and the environment. This role is ideal for an experienced technical leader who can manage complex field efforts, guide technical decisions, and deliver high-quality client outcomes.

What You Will Do

Lead complex environmental investigations, remediation programs, emergency response activities, and related field and office assignments from planning through completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Environmental Science, Geoscience, Engineering, Physical Science, Life Science, or a related field.
  • 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in environmental investigations, remediation, emergency response operations, or a combination of these areas.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex environmental site investigations or remediation projects involving potentially hazardous substances.
  • Ability to serve as a technical resource, guide complex technical decisions, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience managing field operations, subcontractors, multidisciplinary teams, project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and technical deliverables.
  • Experience developing and reviewing technical reports, investigation documents, work plans, field sampling plans, health and safety plans, technical procedures, and quality assurance documentation.
  • Strong ability to analyze, interpret, organize, and communicate analytical data, monitoring results, and field observations.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, client-facing, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using field sampling equipment, air and water monitoring instruments, PPE, and related field tools.
  • Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.
