Role OverviewAs a Sr Environmental Specialist I, you will serve as a trusted resource for interpreting requirements, navigating regulatory expectations, and helping the business operate responsibly in a dynamic operating environment. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, applying technical expertise, sound judgment, and a practical mindset to real-world challenges.
What You Will Do
Coordinate and deliver air compliance and regulatory support for refinery operations, ensuring process units, utility systems, and projects comply with applicable air permits, regulations, and company standards. Maintain strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local air regulations affecting refineries, and interpret permit conditions to provide clear, practical guidance to operations, maintenance, engineering, and project teams.

Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 or more years of air compliance, air permitting, or relevant experience
- Intermediate or greater proficiency working with EPA regulations including Title V, NSR/PSD, NESHAPS, New Source Performance Standards (NSPS), Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT), and other local, regional, state, and federal environmental requirements
