Job Description
Country View Family Farms is looking for a Senior Environmental Specialist to lead environmental compliance, permitting, nutrient management, and sustainability initiatives across their organization in Indiana. The position is responsible for managing and enhancing environmental compliance programs, partnering with operational leaders and regulatory agencies, and driving environmental stewardship, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Resource Management, Agronomy, Soil Science, or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and meet company driving eligibility requirements
  • Certification in preparing nutrient management plans and odor management plans is preferred
  • Working knowledge of NPDES CAFO permits and other agricultural environmental regulations and compliance requirements
  • Minimum of five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
