Job Description
The Senior Estimator will participate in all aspects of the bid and estimating process from review of plans and specs to soliciting and negotiating prices from contractors and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering and/or 3-7 years of equivalent experience required
  • General knowledge of construction principles and processes
  • Ability to synthesize cost data from a wide range of sources into a conceptual estimate
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • General knowledge of negotiated bids, hard bids, and GMP processes
  • Working knowledge of estimating technology and tools such as OST, WinEst, Bluebeam and BIM related software
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
