Job Description
Senior Estimator will prepare contract proposal estimates, analyze plans and documentation, and develop proposals for customers. The role requires advanced knowledge of mechanical piping and plumbing, sheet metal systems, and Construction Project Management. The Senior Estimator will also provide training and mentorship to other team members and assist with the project turnover process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred or 5-7 years of equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in estimating, engineering, or trade experience related to mechanical constructions
  • Advanced knowledge of Construction Project Management
  • Knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts
  • Advanced understanding and experience with the proposal interview process
  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing, piping, or sheet metal systems
  • Ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems
  • Advanced understanding/knowledge of Mechanical estimating software including the ability to maintain and troubleshoot
  • Solid knowledge of the cost components of an estimate
  • Understanding of SMACNA and MCAA guidelines
  • Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office – Word and Excel
