Role OverviewAs a Senior Estimator at Ruppert Landscape, you will manage estimating workflow, develop partnerships with internal teams and external partners, and provide technical information to customers. You will work in a family-owned and employee-owned business with a strong focus on environmental stewardship and community involvement.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing estimating workflow, developing scopes of work, reviewing plans and specifications, and negotiating bid prices with subcontractors. You will also assist customers with technical information and pricing during pre-construction.

Requirements
- Extensive understanding of landscape installation or construction methods
- Minimum 3-5 years of Estimating experience
- Basic knowledge of plant material and best horticultural practices
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
- Ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors and customers
- Ability to project a professional image and a positive attitude in all situations
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Estimating Software Program
- Extensive understanding of business math, accounting, and financial reporting
