Role OverviewUnited Infrastructure Group is seeking a Senior Estimator with at least seven years of heavy-civil construction experience to lead transportation infrastructure estimates throughout North Carolina.
What You Will Do
The Senior Estimator will manage assigned pursuits from initial review through bid submission and post-award handoff, and will be responsible for complete estimates from pursuit review through final bid submission.

Requirements
- Minimum seven years of progressively responsible heavy-civil construction experience
- Experience estimating heavy-highway, bridge or transportation infrastructure projects
- Experience with Bid2Win, HCSS HeavyBid or an equivalent crew-based construction estimating system
- Strong knowledge of heavy-civil means and methods, equipment, labor productivity and sequencing
- Experience developing self-perform estimates and evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, geotechnical information, contracts and DOT special provisions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and electronic quantity-takeoff software
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple pursuits and meet fixed bid deadlines
- Ability to travel within the Carolinas as required
